Heavy-duty flowable systems are best suited to heavy industrial environments, in areas that are subject to heavy traffic but are not constantly wet.

Sherwin Williams – FasTop SL45

FasTop SL45 is a 4-5mm thick polyurethane cement, self-levelling, resin floor system that provides a heavy-duty finish. It is designed to protect concrete, wood and steel substrates from thermal shock, impact, corrosion, mild chemical spills, and abrasion. SL45 is non-taint, odourless and food-grade with HACCP International certification, and it can be applied with a pin rake, screed rake or flat trowel.

It is ideal for freezer temperatures and its antimicrobial agent minimises microbial growth on the installed floor.

Altro – Altro Flow™

Designed for areas that require increased hygiene, Altro Flow offers excellent chemical and impact resistance and is available in 25 high gloss colours. It is a solvent-free, epoxy resin system for application on a level floor and provides a seamless and smooth surface. 

Altro Flow is available in a choice of 1mm standard2mm standard and 3mm standard variants to suit the different demands of your environment. There is also the option of a 3mm static-dissipative variant for areas where there are electronically sensitive environments and equipment.  It offers the performance benefits of epoxy resin flooring and this variant is measured in accordance with test method BS 2050 when used on prepared substrates treated with Altro Prime™ static-dissipative variant.

Flowcrete – Flowshield SL

This system gives a hygienic, self-smoothing, impermeable resin floor finish, and is used to protect concrete thanks to its improved durability to withstand both mechanical and chemical impact.  It is suitable for dry process areas where the floor is subjected to medium to heavy-duty foot, trolley, pallet truck and rubber wheeled forklift traffic.  Its coloured, 3-component epoxy-based coating is ideal for projects where colour continuity may be a concern.
